Deal with negative emotions

The effect of negative emotions on humans

Take care of your negative emotions

When I talk about negative emotions I do not talk about the emotions of the loss of a relationship, or the passing away of somebody you love. But about the negative emotions such as doubt, fear, resentment, envy, and guilt which are not warranted, and you spend a lot of time dwelling on them and that stops you from achieving a happy fulfilled life. Justifications keep the negative emotions alive and cultivate them. You might say ‘I am entitled to this emotion’ or you say ‘After so much trouble can I give up?’ The idea is to let go of the luggage of negative emotions and get rid of them. Justifications keep the negative emotion alive. By disidentifying, you keep the emotion at bay, and they lose control over you. ‘I have anger but I am not the anger, ‘I have anger but the anger is not me’. You are still here and emotions will pass. Blaming is at the root of negative emotions. Once you stop blaming the negative emotions will stop. Negative emotions are learned throughout your life. Being judgmental is another way of keeping negative emotions intact. Where there is a division there is a struggle. Responsibility and freedom go hand in hand. You obtain freedom to the degree to which you are responsible. As I mentioned before, the idea is to leave negative emotions like garbage and go ahead and fulfill your life. The difference between successful and non-successful is how they deal with the negative emotions, so they have time to have a happy fulfilled life.

Lack of childhood love affects the negative emotions. Parents must love themselves and from there each other and the child. You’ll go being angry because you have not received your entitled love from your parents.

Conversion disorder and amnesia

In extreme cases they are rare. I post this on amnesia and conversion disorder because I know of people who suffer from them and I have encountered myself the mind shutting down and also the hearing being lost.

The trigger thoughts involved in conversion disorders are:’I can not handle this, ‘I must blot out everything.’ And in a major form of conversion disorder, the person collapses. Another trigger thought is ‘If I am sick, people will leave me alone.’ Your trigger thought is carried on from childhood where if we were sick we could get away with it. No, we are not in childhood anymore, when an adult will take care of us when we have too much to handle. We need to apply mature rules and regulations to the current situation. If it is too much let go of some of them, tell to yourself that ‘you can handle the situation’ and all the physical functions begin to return to normal. We all have a bit of conversion disorder from time to time when the voice becomes squeaky and harsh.

I am a refugee originally from eastern Europe. and migrated during times of cold war between the east and the west. I picked this country because at the time there was a free health system and free education. Education for everybody who wants it. I continue lived here and would like to make a significant contribution even at my late age.
